James Michael Phillips, 50, of Fairmont (Katy Community) died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at his residence.
He was born March 24, 1961 in Fort Dix, NY.
Jimmy worked most of his life as an auto mechanic and he was a baptist by faith.
Surviving him are one son and daughter-in-law, Benjamin and Tasha Phillips of Hundred; one daughter, Zoe Ann Molatch of Bentonville, AR; a brother and sister-in-law, Bobby J. and Lorna Zoe Phillips of Hundred; two grandchildren, D'trevian Molatch and Camille Molatch of Bentonville, AR; and good friends, Lonnie and Marsha Anderson of Knob Fork.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Estelle Park Phillips and his wife, Cindy Phillips.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 6-8 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Yost Cemetery near Earnshaw.
