Katherine Louise Morris, 82, of Hundred, WV died Friday, May 20, 2011 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born February 28, 1929 at Hundred, WV, a daughter of the late Hugh Cosgray and Lottie Elizabeth Rose Cosgray.
Mrs. Morris was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are one daughter, Diana Phelps of Hundred; two sons, Harry Anderson of Glen Burnie, MD and John Anderson of New Martinsville; three sisters, Doris Haines of Vermillion, Ohio, Martha Shifflett of Frederick, MD, and Kay Jacobsen of Connecticut; seven grandchildren, Crystal Denny, Waneta Yoho, Hazel Gee, Josh Anderson, Brian Anderson, Angie Phillips, and Christy Anderson; several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband Melvin Anderson; one son, Junior Anderson; one sister, Norma Williams; and three brothers, Edward Cosgray, Donald Cosgray, and Steven Cosgray.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 6-9 PM Monday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Tuesday with Evangelist Dick Bartrug officiating. Interment will follow in the Thomas Chapel Cemetery near Hundred.
