Dayton Lynwood Tustin, 78, of Hundred, WV died Friday, July 1, 2011 in the Golden Living Center in Morgantown.
He was born February 12, 1933 at Earnshaw in Wetzel County, a son of the late Charley Tustin and Erma Lee Rush Tustin.
Lynwood was a retired carpenter.
He was a United States Army veteran who proudly served from 1953 to 1955.
Surviving are his step-children and their spouses, John and Betty Ashcraft of New Cumberland, Charles and Jamie Ashcraft of Weirton, Ralph Ashcraft of Fairmont, Pat and Ruth Ashcraft of Fairmont, Roger Ashcraft and Tricia Pinn of Pennsylvania, Shirley and Jeffery Crane of Fairmont and their two daughters whom he referred to as "Pappy's Girls", Nicole and Jayla Crane, and Ricky and Vicki Ashcraft of Hundred; one sister, Nancy Mace of Steubenville, OH; fourteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dexter Tustin and Delmar Tustin; and a special friend, Marcella Ashcraft.
Friends will be received at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 7-9 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Wednesday with the Rev. Brian Plum officiating. Interment will follow in the Rice Ridge Cemetery near Littleton.
