Ellen N. Jones, 94, a resident of the St. Barbara's Memorial Nursing Home in Monongah, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 in the nursing facility.
She was born March 20, 1916 at Burton, WV, a daughter of the late Allie Bartrug and Mabel Glover Bartrug.
Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and a baptist by faith.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie L. Jones and his wife Liz of Fairmont; one daughter and son-in-law, Betty Subit and her husband, Robert of St. Clairsville, OH; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several great-great-granchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Jones; one sister, Pearl Tennant; three brothers, Garold Bartrug, Kenneth Bartrug, and Richard Bartrug; two sons, Robert "Bob" Jones and James Jones; one daughter, Patricia R. Mitchell Stout; and grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 3-9 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Thursday with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Harmony Cemetery at Burton.
