Amber Nicole Gorby, 27, of Littleton, WV died Friday November 5, 2010 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born August 28, 1983 in Orlanda, Florida, a daughter of Jerry Lee Hawkins and Penny Sue Mercer Hawkins of Hundred.
Amber was a homemaker and a protestant by faith.
Surviving in addition to her parents, is her husband, Don Lee Gorby of Flatwoods, KY; three brothers, Steven Lee Hawkins of Hundred, Joshua A. Hawkins of Littleton, and Aaron M. Hawkins of Hundred; paternal grandfather, Donald Hawkins and wife Jane of New Martinsville; paternal grandmother, Liz Stoneking and husband Ray of Hundred; maternal grandfather, Thomas Mercer of New Martinsville; maternal grandmother, Juanita Rainey of Gallipolis Ferry, WV; a niece, Miranda Hawkins, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 5-9 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Wednesday with Pastor Ronald Lee officiating. Following services her body will be cremated.
