Albert "Pooch" Stottlemire, 61, of Littleton, WV died Monday, July 26, 2010 at his residence.
He was born December 13,1948 at Littleton, a son of the late Charles W. Stottlemire and Bertha Mae Merriner Stottlemire.
Pooch formerly worked on the railroad and was a member of the Laborers Local #1149 out of Wheeling, WV. He was a methodist by faith.
Surviving are his wife, Helen Park Stottlemire; one son & daughter-in-law, Albert Henry Stottlemire and Laura of Glovers Gap; one daughter & son-in-law, Leah and Brian Cork of Littleton; one half-brother, Bill Merriner of South Amherst, Ohio; and four grandchilren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Homer Stottlemire, William Stottlemire, Benny Stottlemire, and Charles Merriner; and by two sisters, Ruby Null and Wanda Garrison.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 7-9 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Wednesday with the Evangelist Charlie Snodgrass officiating. Interment will follow in the Rice Ridge Cemetery near Littleton.
