Mary E. Curry, 90, of Burton, WV died Sunday November 7, 2010 in Fairmont General Hospital.
She was born December 26, 1919 at Ned, PA, a daughter of the late Michael Joseph Prendergast and Elizabeth E. Warrick Prendergast.
Mary worked most of her life in clerical positions for different companies. She was a member of the Grandview United Methodist Church of Garrison, PA.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Hall of Hundred, WV and Betty Ann Price of Mountainburg, AR; one sister, Betty Joseph of Niles, Ohio; six grandchildren, Sherry Scroggins of Palatka, FL, Deborah Keatley of Warren, OH, Joseph Labani of Lake Havasu, Arizona, Troy Labani of Oklahoma City, OK, Donald Price of Colorado, and Maria Frick of Mountainburg, AR; sixteen great-grandchildren and twenty great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carson W. "Patty" Curry; one brother, Maurice Prendergast; an aunt, Nora Strope; and a great-grandchild, Mary Beth Keatley.
At the request of the deceased her body will be cremated. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of arrangements.
