Martha J. Jolliffe, 94, of Knob Fork, WV died Sunday, September 25, 2005 in the Wetzel County Hospital in New Martinsville.
She was born in Thomas, WV on April 13, 1911, the daughter of the late Peter and Anna Bullick Rocovich, and is survived by three sisters. One of these, Dorothy Jean Krekel, has made her home with and provided care for the deceased for many years. The remaining two are Mrs. Helen Lescow of Walkersville MD and Mrs. Margaret Colton of Gettysburg, PA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Jolliffe, two sisters and five brothers.
She is also survived by her son, Dr. J. B. Jolliffe of Kingwood and her daughter, Mrs. Betty Jean Fourney of Ravenswood, WV; four grandsons, four granddaughters, five great-grandsons, and one great-granddaughter.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 2-5 PM Saturday and from 1-2 PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM with the Pastor Tim Brower officiating. Interment will follow in the Glover Cemetery at Knob Fork.
