Eugene Thomas, 72, of Knob Fork, WV died Monday, October 26, 2009 in Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, WV.
Mr. Thomas was born November 14, 1936 at St. Marys, PA, a son of the late Leon T. Thomas and Margaret Crawford Thomas.
Eugene was retired from the United States Navy where he served for 26 years and retired with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 4. He was a member of the Wetzel County Farm Bureau.
Surviving are his wife, Marilyn E. Thomas; two sons, Wallace Thomas of Lake Forest, CA and John Thomas of Oceanside, CA; two daughters, Pamela Kissinger of Long Beach, CA and Catherine Martinez of Lakewood, CA; and seven grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Thomas and Jack Thomas; and one sister, Patricia Shafer.
