Charles Patrick Hixenbaugh, 68, of Hundred, WV died Friday, April 3, 2009 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
Pat was born September 24, 1940 at Hundred, a son of the late Carl "Ed" Hixenbaugh and Emma Bayless Hixenbaugh.
Mr. Hixenbaugh was a retired employee of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. He attended the Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Anita Lebbano Hixenbaugh; six sons, Charles Hixenbaugh, Jr. of Mannington, Daniel Hixenbaugh of Farmington, Dean Hixenbaugh of Hundred, Michael Hixenbaugh of Union, NJ; Joseph Tarantini, Kailua, Hawaii, and Joshua Tarantini, of Hundred; one daughter, Cindy Torrince of Albemarle, NC; two brothers, Joseph Hixenbaugh of Greensburg, PA and James Hixenbaugh of Prescott Valley, Arizona; eleven grand-children and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 5-9 PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Monday with the Rev. James Powell officiating. Interment will follow in the Sancho Cemetery near Hundred.
