Mary E. Barth, 95, of Hundred, WV died Sunday, April 19, 2009 in the Peterson Hospital in Wheeling, WV.
She was born February 12, 1914 at Parsons, WV, a daughter of the late Hugh Paugh and Effie Rachel Kitzmiller Paugh.
Mary was a retired cook. She worked at different restaurants in the Hundred area. She was an active member of the Hundred Senior Citizens and was a member of the Hundred Church of Christ.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Glenn Barth of Sheffield, AL and Dariel and his wife Paula Barth of Wedgefield, SC; four daughters and their spouses, Loretta and David McDonald of Wheeling, Jeanette and Herb Williams of West Liberty, WV, Corliss and Bill O'Rourke of Medford Lakes, NJ, and Geneva Farlow of Webster Springs, WV; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Earl Barth, who died on January 1, 1970; three sons, Robert Barth, Ronald Barth, and Norman Barth, and several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 6-9 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Thursday with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Fairmont.
