Marjorie M. Jeffers, 71, of Hundred, WV died Wednesday, April 8, 2009 in the Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown.
She was born January 2, 1938, a daughter of the late Harry Leichliter and Mildred Anderson Leichliter Taylor.
Mrs. Jeffers was retired from the Hundred Senior Center where she had worked as a cook for over 10 years.
She was catholic by faith.
Surviving are one son, Larry Benninghoff of Hundred; two daughters, Donna Hostutler and Tish Kennedy, both of Hundred; two brothers, Harry R. Leichliter of Mannington and Charles Leichliter of Philadelphia, PA; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Danny W. Rush, II.
At the request of the deceased her body was cremated. There will be no funeral home visitation or funeral service.
The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of arrangements.
