Elma L. Roberts, 86, of Cameron, WV died Monday, May 18, 2009 in the Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale.
She was born March 23, 1923 at Littleton, WV, a daughter of the late George W. Jobes and Edith F. Oliver Jobes.
Mrs. Roberts was a homemaker and a devoted member of the Hundred Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Littleton High School.
Surviving are one son, James D. Roberts of Cameron; one sister, Virginia Crow of Cleveland, Ohio; a son-in-law, Ernest Myron Kemp of Woodsfield, Ohio; one granddaughter, Myra Lynn Mayhugh of Woodsfield, Ohio; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Enoch Doyle Roberts, who died on March 30, 2003; two brothers, Beryl W. Jobes and Bernice Jobes; a daughter, Benita Kemp; a grandson, Myron Lee Kemp; and a daughter-in-law, Maria Roberts.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 7-9 PM Thursday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 10:30 AM Friday with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Shriver Cemetery near Hundred.
