Jack W. Six, 76, of Burton, WV died Thursday, October 29, 2009 at his residence.
He was born January 18, 1933 at Coburn, WV a son of the late William Six and Ida Greathouse Six.
Mr. Six was retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways. He worked for the state for 20 years and retired as a truck driver.
Surviving are his friend, Sue Burdine; one son & daughter-in-law, Jack Tracy Six and his wife, Barbara of Burton; one brother, Homer Six of Clarksburg; one half-brother, Burl Barr of Coburn; two sisters, Bessie Stiles of Brave, PA and Maxine Stoneking of Coburn; and two grandsons, Timmy Six and Bobby Six.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Six, and two brothers, Sam Six and Johnnie Six.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 7-9 PM Saturday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:30 PM Sunday with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in Cunningham Memorial Gardens at Burton.
