Margaret F. Hibbs, 92, of Wadestown, WV died Sunday, November 16, 2008 at her residence.
She was born December 14, 1915 at Fairview, WV, a daughter of the late Joseph Gump and Daisy Glover Gump.
Mrs. Hibbs was a homemaker. She was a member of the Union Baptist Church of Crossroads.
Surviving are three sons and their spouses, Billy G. Hibbs of Wadestown, Samuel K. Hibbs, Jr. and his wife Betty of Morgantown, and Bobby Hibbs and his wife Dianne of Marcellus, Michigan; one daughter, Norma Tennant of Idamay; two sisters, Helen Henderson of Fairmont and Delores M. Lancaster of Moundsville; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel K. Hibbs, Sr, who died on June 22, 2003; two brothers, Robert Leroy Gump and Joseph A. Gump; and two sisters, Edna M. Mason and Minnie Jane Menefee.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Wednesday with the Rev. Paul Donaldson officiating. Interment will follow in the Wadestown Cemetery.
