Brenda Lea Dorsey, 45, of Wileyville, WV died Thursday, May 26, 2005 at her residence after a lengthy battle with cancer.
She was born March 29, 1960 at Ravenna, Ohio a daughter of Inest Lea Belkamp Spencer of Garrettsville, Ohio and the late David W. Spencer.
Mrs. Dorsey was a cook for the New Martinsville Health Care Center in New Martinsville until her illness would no longer permit her to work. She was a protestant by faith.
Surviving are her husband, Robert E. Dorsey, Jr; two sons, Dennis Dean of Wileyville and Robert E. Dorsey, III at home; two daughters, Shannon Eastham of Wileyville and Tiffany Dorsey at home; six brothers, Larry Dean, David Spencer, Edward Spencer, Calvin Grant, and Keith Dean all of Garrettsville, Ohio, and Robert Dean of Newton Falls, Ohio; one sister, Rosalie Crews of Warren, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Hailey Geers, Destiny Geers, and Nathen Eastham.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jay Hecky and by a sister who died as an infant.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 6-9 PM Saturday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:30 PM Sunday with the Pastor Linda Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Dorsey Cemetery.
