Vernon R. Tustin, 68, of Hundred, WV died Tuesday, May 3, 2005 in the Cameron Continuous Care Center in Cameron, WV.
Mr. Tustin was born May 21, 1936 at Littleton, WV a son of the late Ray (Newt) Tustin and Aline Postlethwait Tustin.
Mr. Tustin was a protestant by faith and worked as a truck driver and retired as a union carpenter in Ohio.
He was a United States Army veteran who served in Korea and was a member of the Earl Kiger American Legion Post #120 of Hundred.
Surviving are a daughter, Gina Shonthaler of Hays, KS; a son Jarrod Tustin of Fort Pierce, Fl: one grandson, Andrew Shonthaler; seven brothers and spouses, Vincent Tustin, Delmus Tustin, Dale and Karen Tustin, Terry Tustin, Johnny & Cathy Tustin, all of Hundred and Roger and Marge Tustin and Michael Tustin, all of Cameron; three sisters & spouses, Janet & Dale Carter of Folsom, Susie and Danny Tennant, and Carol Abercrombie, all of Hundred; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 6-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with the Pastor Larry Holtz officiating. Interment will follow in the East View Cemetery at Hundred.
