Patricia R. Mitchell Stout, 73, of Barrackville, WV died Saturday, December 30, 2006 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born August 25, 1933 at Burton,WV a daughter of Ellen Bartrug Jones, a resident of the St. Barbara's Nursing Home in Monongah and the late Herbert Jones.
Pat was retired from Fairmont General Hospital where she worked for 17 years. She was a member of the Moose Lodge #9 Ladies Auxillary of Fairmont and a former member of the VFW Post #629 Ladies Auxillary of Fairmont. She attended the Mt. Sharon Free Methodist Church of Fairmont.
Surviving are her husband, Denzil Stout Sr.; five sons, Francis Mitchell, Jr. of Metz, Victor Mitchell of Rodchester, IN, Alan Mitchell of Shreveport, LA, James Mitchell of Chester Gap, VA, and Kenneth "Kenny" Mitchell of Monumental; two daughters, Susan Straight of Elizabeth City, NC and Charlotte Joann Vincent of Fairmont; a step-son, Denzil Stout, Jr. of Missouri; two brothers, Ronnie L. Jones of Fairmont and James Jones a resident of the St. Barbara's Nursing Home in Monongah; one sister, Betty Subit of St. Clairsville, OH; twenty five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Francis Mitchell, Sr., one son, Ricky Mitchell and a brother, Robert "Bob" Jones.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 2-9 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Thursday with the Pastor Rex Musgrove officiating. Interment will follow in the Harmony Cemetey at Burton.
