Olive C. Haught Koontz, 87, of Metz, formerly of Fairmont, died Monday, July 3, 2006 in the Cameron Continuous Care Center.
She was born December 15, 1918 at Harrisville, WV, a daughter of the late Riley N and Iva Clark Collins.
Mrs. Koontz retired from Community Bank and Trust, NA December 31, 1983. She was a member of the Hundred Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest L. Koontz; a niece, Shirley Ann Westfall of Bridgeport, WV; a nephew and his wife, Denton L. and Janet Parks of Parkersburg, three great-nephews, all of Parkersburg; three step-sons and their spouses, Paul and Linda Koontz of Littleton, Edward and Nelda Koontz of Burton, and Ronald and Janet Koontz of Hundred; nine step-grandchildren, and seventeen step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Okey L. Curry, her second husband, Leslie E. Haught; one half-brother, Henry R. Evans; two sisters, Marie Lewis and Opal Parks.
Olive was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 7-9 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville.
