Elsie Mae Goff, 67, of Burton, WV died Saturday, June 10, 2006 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born August 24, 1938 at Martins Ferry, OH, a daughter of the late Jesse Miller and Thelma Miller.
In her early life she worked as a waitress. She was a homemaker and mother.
She was a member of the Valley Chapel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons & daughters-in-law, Charles R. "Chip" Goff and his wife Becky of Hundred, and Michael T. and his wife Lisa of Burton; one daughter & son-in-law, Toni Lynn & Dave Strohmeyer of Cameron; two brothers, Lawrence Miller of Spokane, Washington and William Miller of Martins Ferry; one sister, Arlene Baukmicht of Martins Ferry; and eight grandchildren, Skylar, Hunter, Madeline, Mercedez, David, Steven, Cody and Bradley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Miller; three sisters, Mary Bell Smith, June Harris, and Louella Shiffman; and her husband, Charles R. Goff, who died on July 24, 2004.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Monday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Tuesday with the Rev. Rose Saunders officiating. Interment will follow in the Shriver Cemetery.
