Mabel M. Garrison, 92, of Littleton, WV died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at her residence.
She was born November 30, 1915 at Littleton, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Wade and Pearl Blake Wade.
Ms. Garrison was a homemaker and a member of the Littleton Senior Citizens.
In her early years she attended the Littleton Church of God, but had more recently been attending the Littleton United Methodist Church. She loved to sing when she was at church.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Jimmie Garrison and his wife Janet of Fairmont; one daughter and son-in-law, Betty and her husband Albert Berry of Orrville, Ohio; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wetzel Garrison, who died in February, 1975; three sisters, Helen Wade, Mary Wade, and Grace Kennedy; three brothers, Paul Wade, Virgil Wade, and Ralph Wade; and two daughters, Helen Petridis and Edith Key.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Saturday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:30 PM Sunday with the Rev. Rose Saunders officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson-Bethel Cemetery at Littleton.
