Jeanette L. Freeland, 88, of Fairmont, WV died Wednesday, December 20, 2006 in the Wishing Well Manor in Fairmont.
She was born July 3, 1918 at Hundred, WV a daughter of the late Forrest Delaney and Stella Antel Delaney.
Mrs. Freeland was a homemaker and a former employee or Owens Illinois of Fairmont. She was a protestant by faith.
Surviving are one son & daughter-in-law, Larry Joe and Betty Freeland of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one daughter & son-in-law, Margaret and Richard Giordano of Fairmont; two sisters, Mary Anderson of Waynesburg, PA and Patricia Watts of Waldorf, MD; three grandchildren & spouses, Amy Harte of Frederick, MD, Lisa Giordano of Fairmont, WV, and Dawn and Eric Grisell of Corbin, KY; and four great-grandchildren, Erika, Evan, & Kara Grisell, and Alexa Giordano.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Freeland who died on July 1, 1989; three sisters, Lucille Moore, Vera Ward, and Kathleen Gaines; and two brothers, Clifford Delaney and Albert Delaney who died as an infant.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 6-8 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday. Interment will follow in the Cunningham Memorial Gardens at Burton, WV.
