Perman A. Garrison, 86, of New Freeport, PA died Tuesday, April 8, 2008 in the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home in Waynesburg, PA
He was born January 15, 1922 at Endicott, WV, a son of the late Edgar Garrison and Lula Wade Garrison.
Mr. Garrison retired with 27 years of service from Ormet Aluminum. He was a veteran of the United States Army who served in World War II. He was a member of the former World Wide Church of God of Washington, PA.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia Reed Garrison; three sons, Gary Garrison of Newell, WV, Terry Garrison of New Freeport, PA, and Richard Garrison of Dilliner, PA; five daughters, Elaine Arnold of Fairmont, WV, Vickie Garrison of New Freeport, PA, Marjorie Brumgard of Humble, TX, Linda McEvoy of Dover, PA, and Debbie Gunnoe of Fairdale, WV; fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Sylvester Garrison and Charles Garrison, one sister, Juanita Garrison, and one great-granddaughter.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 2-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be private and will be held at the convenience of the family with the Pastor Tom Smith officiating. Interment will follow on the Garrison family farm.
