Mary A. Hinerman, 88, of New Martinsville, WV died Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the home of her sister in Ravenna, Ohio.
She was born May 15, 1920 at Moundsville, WV, a daughter of the late Daniel O. Stoneking and Bertie McCandless Stoneking.
Mary was a homemaker, a member of the Democratic Womens Club, and a member of the Earl Kiger American Legion Post #120 Ladies Auxillary of Hundred.
She attended churches of the methodist and catholic faith.
Surviving are two brothers and their wives, Charlie Ray and Lavina Stoneking of New Martinsville and Harvey and Maxine Stoneking of Coburn; three sisters and their spouses, Sharlette Dippel of New Martinsville, Ottie Margalene Wagner of Hundred, and Myrtle and Edward Uher of Ravenna, Ohio; two step-daughters and their husbands, Doris Phillips and her husband Jack of Mingo Junction, Ohio, and Mary Rush and her husband, Lonnie of Moundsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Hinerman; two brothers, Silas "Cy" Stoneking and John Lee Stoneking; and a son who died as an infant.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 4-8:00 PM Wednesday. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Thursday in the St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in New Martinsville with the Rev. J. Stephen Vallelonga officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery in New Martinsville.
