Eleanor Norene Lemasters, 72, of Concord, NC, formerly of Hundred, WV died on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 in the Carolinas Regional Medical Center in Charlotte NC.

She was born August 25, 1935 at Hundred, WV, a daughter of the late George and Lela N. Moore Lemley.

She graduated from Ohio Valley Medical Center School of nursing. She worked as a nurse for many years and also worked in payroll for QVC.

She was a former member of the Hundred Volunteer Fire Department and worked as an EMT for the United Emergency Unit, both of Hundred. She was a member of the Kannapolis Church of Christ, Kannapolis, NC.

Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Charles R. Lemasters; three daughters & spouses, Cynthia and Dick Parsons of Morgantown, Charlene and Danny Curry of Hundred, Emma and Steve Swain of Concord, NC; two sisters and spouses, Linda and Jack Bernardo of Murrells Inlet, SC, Barbara and Bill Shriver of Hundred; two brothers and spouses, Thomas and Ellen Lemley of Murrells Inlet, SC, and Bill and Diana Lemley of Hundred; five grandchildren and spouses, Theresa and Aaron Briggs, Billy and Sierra Lemley, Mindy Lemley, Jake Swain, and Emily Swain; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preced in death by two brothers, George R. Lemley and Wayne Lemley.

Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 2:00 PM Saturday with the Evangelist Sam Bartrug and Evangelist Kirk D. Sams officiating. Interment will follow in the Sancho Cemetery at Hundred.
