Thomas E. Straight, 79, of Washington, PA and formerly of Burton, WV died Wednesday, October 3, 2007 in the Washington County Health Center.
Tom was born January 12, 1928 at Wadestown, WV, a son of the late Bill Straight and Lillie A. Graff Straight.
He was a retired employee of the Earl Kiger American Legion Post #120 of Hundred where he worked for many years.
Tom was a very proud member of the Hundred Volunteer Fire Department. He was a United States Army veteran and a member of the Earl Kiger American Legion Post #120 of Hundred. He was a protestant by faith.
Surviving are one brother and sister-in-law, Gail and Maxine Straight, of Norwalk, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha B. Straight, who died on July 31, 1998; and three sisters, Marjorie Zelic, Addie Mae McVicker, and Madge Hostutler.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 7-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 10:30 AM Saturday with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Wadestown Cemetery.
