Mary E. Lemley, 86 of Wadestown, WV died Monday, August 28, 2006 at the Methodist Hospital Southlake Campus, Merrillville, Ind.
She was born October 5, 1919 in Wadestown, WV; a daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Bessie Mae Howard Roupe and was a lifelong resident of the Wadestown area. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, dear sister, aunt, gracious friend and neighbor. Mary will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mary was the loving wife of the late Curtis E. Lemley.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Kenneth Sencaj of Whiting, IN; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Ruth Lemley of Weirton, WV; a sister, Anna Savino of Fairmont, WV; a brother, Albert (Bud) Roupe of Follansbee; five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Simpson and Goldie Price and one brother, Howard Roupe.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Thursday with the Rev. Samuel K. Hibbs, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Wadestown Cemetery.
