James F. Hadley, 72, of Hundred, WV died Monday, April 2, 2007 in the Louis A. Johnson VA Hospital in Clarksburg, WV.
Jim was born January 16, 1935 in Mt. Pleasant MI, a son of the late Carmen Hadley and Irene Eastham Hadley Boring.
Mr. Hadley was a retired custodian with the Wetzel County Board of Education. He retired from the Long Drain School with 35 years of service. He was a member of the Earl Kiger American Legion Post #120 of Hundred and a veteran of the United States Army. He attended the Littleton Church of God.
Surviving are his second wife, Lisa D. Adams Hadley; seven sons, Ricky L. McKinney of New Matamoras, OH, James S. Hadley of New Martinsville, Gerald L. Hadley of Proctor, William C. Hadley, of Hundred, Rickey McKinney of New Matamoras, OH, Jacob Hadley and Kody Hadley, both of Hundred; three daughters, Veronica Sue Taylor of Burton, Virchie Hadley of Romney, and Helen M. Boney of Nashville, TN; and two brothers, Frederick Boring and Brice Boring, both of the Shinnston area, twenty grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Hadley; an infant daughter, Bonnie Hadley, and an infant son, Brice Hadley, and his step-father, Fred Boring.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 6-9 PM Thursday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Friday. Interment will follow in the East View Cemetery near Hundred.
