Karen Marie Carpenter, 70, of Pine Grove, WV died Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at her residence.
She was born August 30, 1937 at Hastings, WV, a daughter of the late Clarence Dean and Irene Six Dean.
Mrs. Carpenter was a housewife and homemaker. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a member of the Long Valley Church of Christ.
Surviving are two daughters and spouses, Teresa and Mark Williams of Wileyville and Gina and David Gray of New Martinsville; one brother, Kenneth Dean of Dale, TX; one sister, Delores Sapp of Wileyville; and three grandchildren, Tiffany Williams, Miranda Gray, and David Keith Gray.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Keith Carpenter, who died on December 11, 2004.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral home in Hundred, WV from 7-9 PM Friday. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Knights of Pythian Cemetery at Pine Grove with Jerry Yoho officiating. Interment will follow in the Knights of Pythian Cemetery.
