Rita R. Moore, 59, of Range Road, Wadestown, WV went in glory, to the presence of God, after a trying battle with cancer on January 10, 2007.
She was born March 14, 1947, at Crossroads, WV a daughter of Mona Evans Conaway, a resident of the Wishing Well Health Care Center in Fairmont and the late Joe Conaway.
Rita was a homemaker. She spent her life giving and caring for those close to her. She loved spending quiet time with close family and friends and studying God's word. She was a member of the Bula Baptist Church and a graduate of Clay-Battelle High School.
Surviving are one son & daughter-in-law, Ronald E. Raber, Jr. and wife Barbara of Fairview; two daughters and one son-in-law, Lena D. Holmes and husband Mitchell of Blacksville, and Donra J. Willard of Wadestown; two brothers, Richard W. Conaway and David F. Conaway, both of Wadestown; one sister, Mary Dale Price of Burton; eight grandchildren, Shalanda, Corey, Trevis, Colton, Bryndin, Brody, Braylin, and Mitia.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald E. Moore, a sister, Alberta Mills, and a niece, Suzanne Suchmacher.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Saturday with Rev. Samuel K. Hibbs, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Eakin-Wana Memorial Cemetery at Wana.
