JOSEPH “BROCK” HIXENBAUGH
Joseph “Brock” Hixenbaugh, 43, of Hundred, WV passed away from an extended illness on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at his home with family by his side.
Brock enjoyed all aspects of life but most particularly his family, friends, and music. He always sported a contagious smile and enriched the lives of all that he came in contact with during his life.
Brock was born October 6, 1975 in New Martinsville, WV. He was the son of Joseph Charles (Chuck) Hixenbaugh II and Pamela May (Wagner) Hixenbaugh from Hundred, WV. Surviving is his sister, Melissa Hixenbaugh and his brother, Scott Hixenbaugh from Fairmont, WV. He is also survived by several great-aunts/uncles, aunts/uncles, cousins, and extended family/friends whom he truly loved.
At the request of family there will be no services. A private “Celebration of Life” will be held in his honor at a later date at the convenience of the family.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude and appreciation to the staff of both Wetzel County Home Care in New Martinsville, WV and Amedisys Hospice Care of Wheeling, WV for their excellent care and services during his extended illness. A special thanks to Melissa Stuckey Thatcher from Amedisys who went above and beyond to ensure he had the best care.

So sorry for your loss Brock was a very nice boy. When he went to Magnolia I worked there as a custodian and he was always a happy boy and made everyone's day more pleasant. God Bless You all

I am so very sorry for your loss, but every time from this moment on when I here Bob Seger I know that Brock will be jamming right along with me. I truly fell blessed and honored to have had him as a friend whom I considered family. He was truly one of a kind, and gave the best hugs ever!!!

Brock was a beautiful soul who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He always had a smile and a hug every time I saw him. We're praying for his family during this difficult time.

I am so very sorry for your great loss. Although I didn't get the honor of meeting Brock, I have heard all about him from Melissa and I know what a wonderful man he was and how much he meant to all of you. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace, Brock.
