ALICE McCRAY

          Alice McCray, 97, of Fairview, WV died Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at her residence.

          She was born July 25, 1921 at Spraggs, PA, a daughter of the late James Isaac Phillips and Laura Park Phillips.

          Mrs McCray was a retired banker.  She was employed by the former Bank of Wadestown in Fairview for many years.  She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church.

          Surviving are her caregivers, Jesse and Rachel Toothman of Fairview and Betty Haught of Fairview; two sisters-in-law, Edna Phillips and Lillian Phillips, both of Spraggs, PA; two nephews and their spouses, Jim & Paulette Phillips and Richard & Anita Phillips, all of Spraggs, PA; four nieces and their spouses, Edith D’Eletto of Waynesburg, PA, Bonnie Ewart of Greensburg, PA,  Barbara and Albert Simpson of Spraggs, and Debra TenEyck and her husband Donald of Morgantown; and numerous great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Richard “Dick” McCray; one sister, Mildred Phillips; and three brothers, Carl Phillips, Edward Phillips, and Reason Phillips.

          Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-5 PM Saturday.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:30 PM Sunday.  Interment will follow in the Blacksville Cemetery.
