CATHERINE MURPHY

            Catherine Jeanne Murphy, 61, of Kodol Community, Wileyville, WV died Sunday, February 24, 2019 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

            She was born April 8, 1957 at Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of the late Dorsey Lee Lindsey and Ardith L. Huff Lindsey.

            Cathy worked as a Tupperware Sales Representative.  She had also worked at Belko Foods in Hundred and at Walmart in New Martinsville.

            She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church at Knob Fork.

            Surviving is her husband, Michael “Mike” Murphy; two sons, Michael Murphy, II  and Johnathan Murphy, both of New Freeport, PA; one daughter, Trina Fetty of Hundred; two brothers, Dorsey Lindsey, III of Hundred and Stephen Lindsey of Clarksburg; one sister, Anna Robinette of Shinnston; and eight grandchildren.

            In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Dewayne Lindsey and one sister Avanell Gillespie.

            At the request of the deceased her body will be cremated.   A memorial service will be held at a later date.

            The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of arrangements.
