JACK LEE BARTHOLOMEW
Jack Lee Bartholomew, 73 of Brave, PA died Wednesday, June 19, 2019 in the Washington Hospital in Washington, PA.
He was born March 20, 1946 in Bradford, PA, a son of the late Marion Bartholomew and Louise Tuttle Bartholomew.
Jack was a retired machinist.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Carla Kostka Bartholomew; two daughters, Amy Beatty and her husband Steve and Bobbie Apel; a daughter-in-law, Lori Bartholomew; a son-in-law, Ed Briggs; two brothers, Ron Toothman of Macdale and Richard Bartholomew and his wife Sharon of Pentress; grandchildren and their spouses, Terry Bartholomew, Tim & Jordan Steffanizzi, Alex & Tristan Apel, Matt Stefanizzi, Tyler Bartholomew, Andrew & Emily Apel, Jeremy Apel, Travis & Kyrstin Bartholomew, Rae-Lynn and Adam Ringer, Thomas Bartholomew, and Leann Bartholomew; and four great-grandchildren, Reagan Stefanizzi, Adalynn Ringer, Austin Apel, and Theo Bartholomew; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Rich Bartholomew and a daughter Jackie Briggs and one brother, Robert Toothman.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, Blacksville, WV From 5-7 PM Saturday. A funeral service will be held at 7:00. At Mr. Bartholomew’s request his body will be cremated following the services.

To Carla and family...............I am sorry not to be there with you. Jack was very special to me all of our lives. Our regular phone calls to each other the past few years has strengthened our adult relationship beyond words. When I visited Miracle Run he and I would go to the Senior Center for lunch. When I was in WV he always visited me.......I will miss our talks. I am so sorry he is gone and our memories will last forever. Carla thanks for being you.

My deepest condolences. Jack was a dear ,faithful, friend. He was always there for me and Ed. I know he kept Ed going with his wit and friendship. They could talk for hours and cure the worlds problems with humor. He will be missed beyond words. His calls to check on me and make sure I was doing o.k. will never be forgotten. He was a wonderful friend. Rest my dear faithful friend.
