MAZZIE I. McCOY
Mazzie I. McCoy, 81, of Daybrook, died Friday, September 6, 2019 in a fire that destroyed her home.
She was born January 13, 1938 at Fairmont, a daughter of the late Samuel George Carpenter and Nannie Mae Rager Carpenter.
Mrs. McCoy was a homemaker.
Surviving is her husband, George F. McCoy; a brother and sister-in-law, Clyde & Eve Carpenter; one sister, Nora McCoy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Arley Guy Carpenter, John Carpenter, Fay Carpenter, and one sister Martha Carpenter.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 6-8 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday in the funeral home with Rev. Freddie Eddy, II officiating. Interment will follow in the McCoy Cemetery at Daybrook.
The casket will remain closed.
