EMMA HANSHAW
Emma Hanshaw, 80, of Knob Fork, WV died Thursday, April 9, 2020 in the Genesis Health Care Center in New Martinsville.
She was born November 20, 1939 at Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Clarence Cross and Josephine Linger Cross.
Mrs. Hanshaw was a homemaker and a Catholic by faith.
Surviving is one son and his wife, George Hanshaw and his wife Carisse of Dover, OH; two daughters and their husbands, Michele Byrd and her husband Robert of Cairo and Brenda Sams and her husband Steve of Knob Fork; a son-in-law, Joe Skidmore of Cairo; a special friend, Everett McDougal a resident at the Genesis Center in New Martinsville; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George F. Hanshaw; one daughter, Sharon L. Skidmore; and four siblings, Charlie Cross, Fred Cross, Gertrude Mackey, and Barbara Cross.
At the request of the deceased there will be no services.
The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV is in charge of arrangements.
