DAVID WAYNE BARR

        David Wayne Barr, 67, of Elkins, WV, formerly of the Wadestown area died Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at his residence.

          He was born May 28, 1953, a son of the late Paul L. Barr and Violet Tennant Barr.

          Dave formerly worked at the Huttonsville Correctional Center as corrections officer.

          Surviving are one sister and her husband, Joyce Hebb and her husband Gene of Fairmont; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

          In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, John Barr, who died in 1969.

          A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.  The service and interment will be at the Wadestown Cemetery.

          The Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville is in charge of arrangements.
