BETTY CUMBERLIDGE
Betty Elizabeth Cumberlidge, 88, of Hundred, WV died Thursday, November 5, 2020 in the Genesis Health Care Center in New Martinsville.
She was born April 26, 1932 at Hundred, a daughter of the late William E. Metz and Anna B. Myers Metz.
Mrs. Cumberlidge was a homemaker and she formerly attended the Hundred Church of Christ.
Surviving are five sons, Donnie Ray Cumberlidge of Shinnston, Kenneth Edward Cumberlidge of Ohio, Billy Wayne Cumberlidge of Friendly, Timmy Lee Cumberlidge of Ohio, and Tommy Lee Metz of Clarksburg; one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Garrison of Hundred; two brothers, Leon Metz of Hundred and Jack Metz of Morgantown; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Charles Cumberlidge who died on June 6, 1983; two sisters, Cecil Metz and Helen Patterson; and six brothers, Ray Metz, Albert Metz, David Metz, Charles Metz, William Metz, and Robert Metz.
At the request of the deceased her body will be cremated. All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of arrangements.
