Murl “Slick” Barr, 95 of New Cumberland, WV died November 9, 2020 at his residence. He was born May 7, 1925.
He was the loving husband of Ida Jean Barr and the late Patricia Higgins Barr.
Father of Deanna Weber and the late Joe Barr. Stepfather of Katie Morgan, James Cain, Charles Cain, and Thomas Cain.
He was the grandfather of Jennifer Loy, Craig Weber, Dennis Barr, Melinda Carpenter, John Barr, Thomas Williams, Jerra Morgan, Daniel Morgan, Michelene Cain, Josh Cain, Jake Cain, John Cain, Colin Cain, and the late Brian Cain.
He had many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and loving family and friends.
Slick was a great man who was loved by all.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 12:00 Noon until the service hour at 1:00PM on Thursday, November 12, 2020 with Pastor Ted Chapman officiating. Interment will follow in the Yost Cemetery near Hundred.
At a future date there will be a memorial service and luncheon at the Clinton Wesleyan Church in Clinton, PA with Pastor Ted Chapman officiating.
