JOHN MICHAEL LAVINS

          John Michael Lavins, 54, of Dilliner, PA died Friday, January 1, 2021 in the Uniontown Hospital in Uniontown, PA.

          He was born October 1, 1966 at Waynesburg, PA, a son of Edna Chatterton Lavins of Donora, PA and the late John A. Lavins.

          John was disabled most of his adult life.  He loved to read, adored his grandchildren, do online gaming, listen to political debates, and was a strong supporter of the LGBT community.

          Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Brian Lavins and his wife Kristin of Mannington, WV; one brother and his wife, Paul Lavins and his wife Jennifer of Donora, PA; three grandchildren, Bevin Anthony Lavins, Bayler Michael Lavins, and Knightly Jae Lavins; and two nephews, Michael Lavins and Daniel Lavins.

          At the request of the deceased his body will be cremated.

          There will be a family service held at a later date.

          The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV is in charge of arrangements.

Sorry for your loss. He was a great man to his family and friends. I had a great pleasure of calling him a friend. He was great listeners. Always help people. All my kids would call him uncle John. Well God has a great man up there. RIP. Brian to your family from ours Chris / christine/ johnathan/ Isaac.
