DAVID L. SMITH

          David Lee Smith, 65, of Hundred, WV died Saturday, January 16, 2021 at his residence.

          He was born April 24, 1955 at Wheeling, WV, a son of the late Donald Lee Smith and Anna Margaret Miscovich Smith.

          Dave had worked as Union Laborer and was a member of Laborers Local #1149 out of Wheeling, WV.  He was a protestant by faith.

          Surviving are three daughters, Ashley Derby of Burton, Jessie Willis and April Smith, both of Hundred; one step-son, Larry Spencer of Hundred; one step-daughter, Emma Derby of Hundred; four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren; siblings, Don L. Smith of Vincent, Ohio, Janice Church of Cleburn, TX, Robert E. Smith of Lincoln, NC, James Smith of Lewisville, OH, Selenia Gorby of Hundred, Mary Howard of Littleton, Mark Smith of Littleton, Christine Adams of New Matamoras, OH, and Donald Smith of Littleton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Anna Mason, Michael Smith, and Janis Smith.

          Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.  Interment will follow in the Rice Ridge Cemetery near Littleton.
