Oh Aunt Audrey, you will sadly be missed. You and Grandmaw never missed a holiday or birthday always sending cards. I loved to hear about your trips to FL. I bet you Uncle John are tip-toeing hand and hand. Much love ❤️
Audrey was a very special lady. Many prayers for your family and friends. Until we meet again, may God keep you in the palm of his hand.
I found Audrey's obit just now. Someone told me that she pasted but I didn't see her obit. My husband Larry Yoho and I knew John & Audrey as neighbors from 1972 to 1982 when we lived on the house across from Jolliffe nursery. We could not have had a better neighbor. They were great people & friends. I am adjutant at new martinsville post # 28 and we just received all of Johns and his brothers material, pictures. Carl Kernan, our post commander and I could not be more honored to have all this information rest in our post home. We want to creat a very place of honor for all our members, friends and guests to learn all about the USS BUSH and all its great sailers that gave so much. This makes us so much honored that we could call him our friend. Could you please email me an address that we could communicate with family. Thank you and so sorry for the lateness of this message. With great honor to know our fellow comrade.
I am so sorry that I didn't see Audrey's obit. Sooner. Someone told me she passed and I was very sad to hear this. I am Mary Rose Yoho and my husband Larry Yoho lived in white house at foot of hill across from Jolliffes Nursey. We lived there from 1972-1982 and were very good friends of John & AUDREY. We could not have had any greater neighbors and friends . Larry got postmaster job at Proctor PO and we had to sell house and move. Very sad time for us. We really like our little farm and great neighborhood. I am Post Adjutnant at New Martinsville Post #28. We just received all of Johns military material and pictures and his brothers info. We are going to add John and Lawrence's name to our WETZEL COUNTY WALL OF HONOR
Carl Keenan, Post Commander & I could not be any prouder and honored to have this information on USS BUSH. We want to fix a very special place in our post home for all members, guest and friends to view. Thank you all again for this honor and please accept our sympathy for your loss of John & Audrey. Heaven has received a couple of wonderful angels. Mary Rose
