Condolences
Kathy was a treasured friend over the past several years. Love and prayers to Jeff, Michelle and the entire family.
Kathy was family, a first cousin to my Mom, Shirley. She was also my 6th Grade Homeroom teacher at Long Drain School. One of the many things I respected her for was her love and passion for WV history and making sure all of her students left her classroom knowledgeable and wanting to learn more. I remember having to memorize not only all of the counties in WV but also their county seats AND where they were on the WV map! And her love of taking photos at the annual Hundred 4th of July parade and at other events. She will be remembered as a smart, strong, smiling, caring true West Virginian.
Wonderful Loving woman
Saddened to learn of Kathy’s passing.
May God’s blessing comfort the family as only He can during these times. Kathy was always a kind caring person. Prayers for the family.
Kathy will truly be missed. I have nothing but happy memories and love in my heart when I think of her. She was an Angel on this Earth.
Jeff I am so sorry about your Mom. Prayers for you all.
Jeff, my deepest condolences, your mom was a great teacher, and loved by many. May you and your children and grand children have fond memories of a loving, kindhearted soul.
Prayers for the family. So sad to hear of her passing.
I am saddened to learn of this. I was a student in her WV History class at Long Drain Middle School. She awakened my love of history and was one of the most influential teachers in my life. While it has been many years since I saw her, I think of her often . My thoughts are with her family as they navigate through this trying time.
Heaven got a good one when you crossed over, Kathy. I remember our conversations when I would bring the mail to Long Drain and the offers of ice water on hot days. Thanks for the memories and the smiles.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family!
Jeff my thoughts and prayers are with you. Your mom always called me and my sisters her girls-we loved her-she was a wonderful person-. She will always be in our hearts, just like your dad and Walt are. Remember her with smiles and love -that was the way she always greeted us. We will all miss her. If you ever need us-we are here for you. Love and prayers!

So sorry to the family of Kathy for your loss. She made many memories for you all to hold onto the rest of your lives. Certainly will miss her attending Trents birthday party each year she has been a part of....her delicious desserts and her presence was always welcomed. This past August 7th she stayed for hours enjoying talking with friends. A wonderful lady.
