WILLIAM T. EDGELL, JR.

          William T. Edgell, Jr, 62, of Jakes Run, died Saturday, November 6, 2021 at his residence.

          He was born February 19, 1959 at Fairmont, a son of William Edgell, Sr. and Barbara Vanhorn Edgell, who both survive.

          Mr. Edgell worked at Bob Evans for many years as a kitchen prep.  He actually met his wife Carol while working at Bob Evans.  William formerly attended the Mooresville Church of Christ.

          Surviving in addition to his parents is his wife, Carol Johnson Edgell; step-son, Matthew Johnson; mother-in-law, Phyllis Johnson; and a brother-in-law, Robert Johnson, Jr.

          He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence “Red” Anderson and Katherine Anderson, Orda Vanhorn and Molly Vanhorn; and his father-in-law, Robert Johnson, Sr.

          Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 2:00 PM with Pastor Dan Adkins officiating.
