CURTIS DALE FORDYCE

          Curtis Dale Fordyce, 44, of Metz, WV died Thursday, December 9, 2021 at his residence.

          He was born June 12,1977 at New Martinsville, a son of Curtis Earl Fordyce of Smithfield and Linda Hostutler Fordyce of Hundred.

          Dale worked as a laborer in the construction and maintenance of industrial smokestacks.

          Surviving is his wife, Barbara Wade Fordyce; three daughters, Brittany Wade of Fairmont, Heather Fordyce at home, and Dalton Spencer of New Freeport, PA; three brothers, Ricky Fordyce of New York, Daniel Fordyce of Hundred, and Randy Fordyce of Littleton.

          Mr. Fordyce was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jearold and Madge Hostutler and Arthur and Laura Fordyce.

          Per Dale’s request his body will be cremated.  At this time there are no services scheduled.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.

          The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of arrangements.

I’ve known Dale my entire life, a good hearted person and friend anyone could have in their life !!! He made things interesting and could always make you laugh!!! He had the goofiest nickname for me “ Tomato” 🤣 I will never know where he came up with that …
