JANICE BRUMMAGE

          Janice Brummage, 86 of Fairview, WV died Saturday, August 16, 2025 in the Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown.

          She was born August 9, 1939 on Statler Run, a daughter of the late Joseph L. Eddy and Florence E. Tennant Eddy.

          Janice was a retired baker and she retired from WVU Hospital in Morgantown.  She was a member of the Highland Church.

          Surviving is her husband, Ray Brummage; one son, Richard Paul Eddy, of Fairview; two daughters, Florence Waxler of Fairview and Debora Mowery of Fairmont; eight grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Ray Brummage, Jr; and eight siblings, Paul Eddy, Tom Eddy, Ruby Copeland, Louella Bane, Eileen Moore, Betty Pearl Eddy, Olen Eddy, and Regina Eddy.

          Janice chose cremation as her method of final disposition.  At her request there will not be any services.

          The Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville is in charge of arrangements.
