SHIRLEY GREATHOUSE
Shirley A. Greathouse, 79, of Hundred, WV died Sunday, January 18, 2026 at her residence.
She was born October 15, 1946 at Mannington, WV, a daughter of the late Madeline B. Postlethwait Robinson.
Shirley worked as a cook at various restaurants in the Hundred area. She was a member of the Hundred Church of Christ.
Surviving are two sons, Homer “Bo” Greathouse Jr. of Hundred and James Henry Greathouse of Littleton; three daughters, Wendy Lee Spencer of Littleton, Barbara Ann Higgins of Birmingham, Alabama, and Pamela K. Himelrick of Hundred; three sisters, Linda Greathouse of Warren, Ohio, Cindy Derby of Littleton and Regina Derby of Littleton; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Greathouse; one granddaughter, April Spencer; one sister, Bonnie Robinson; two brothers, Armand Robinson and James Robinson; and by her grandparents who raised her, Lindsey & Rosie Postlethwait from Windy Ridge.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday with Pastor Roger Greathouse officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastview Cemetery near Hundred.
