VIOLET R. MYERS
Violet Regina Myers, 91, of Fairmont, WV died Wednesday, January 28, 2026 in Pleasant Acres Christian Haven in Fairmont.
She was born October 9, 1934 at Wadestown, WV, a daughter of the late Paul Wise and Nelle Gump Wise Thomas.
Mrs. Myers was a retired meat wrapper for Thorofare. She attended both Mt. Harmony Community Church and Covenant Church.
Surviving is one brother, Danny Thomas of Wadestown; son-in-law and daughter-in-law, Bill Prince and Mary Ann Pyle Prince; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Alva Arthur, Jr, in 1985; her second husband, Earl Myers in 2013; one son, David Arthur; two daughters, Judy Prince and Janet Frey; four brothers, Victor Wise, Robert Wise, Marvin Thomas, and Lloyd Thomas; and one grandson, Jason Prince.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 3:00 PM with Pastor Roy Weese officiating. Interment will follow in the Wadestown Cemetery.
