LAYLE M. WOODS

          Layle M. “Gail” Woods, 88, of Westover, WV died Monday, February 16, 2026 at her residence.

          She was born June 15, 1937 at Pentress, a daughter of the late Ira Hall Brewer and Maude West Brewer.

          Mrs. Woods was a homemaker.

          Surviving is one daughter, Loretta Woods, of Westover and numerous nieces and nephews.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.

          Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 19, 2026.  There will be no funeral service.  A graveside service will be held at the Olive Cemetery in Pentress.
