JOHN E. SANNEY

        John E. Sanney, 86, of Farmington, WV died Sunday, March 3, 2026 in the Tygart Center in Fairmont.

        He was born May 8, 1939 at Hundred, a son of the late Clarence Sanney and Bertha Hixenbaugh Sanney.

        Mr. Sanny worked as a laborer at a salvage yard and as a farmer.

        Surviving is his significant other, Karen Mayfield of Farmington, and several nieces and nephews.

        In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a wife, Pearl Sanney; five brothers, Glen Sanney, Raymond Sanney, James Sanney, Joseph Sanney, and Isaac Sanney; and three sisters, Elizabeth White, Louise Postlewait, and Wilma Neer.

        Mr. Sanney will be cremated at his request.

        The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV is in charge of arrangements.
